Donate to Help Rick Smith Receive a New Heart
A Servant's Heart
Rick Smith, founder and director of Rock Bottom Outreach needs a new heart. Literally. He suffers from stress-induced cardiomyopathy or "broken-heart syndrome" and has been receiving treatment and therapy for several years after his own personal "rock bottom". experience in 2008.
Those of you who know Rick well or have heard his testimony know that he has been generously sharing his servant's heart with everyone he possibly can since then. But now, his medical team has determined it is time to refer Rick for a heart transplant.
We can only imagine how stressful this diagnosis must be for Rick, but he is determined to continue to live a full life and serve the ministry with a positive outlook and his new heart. His family and friends are equally determined to support and sustain him through this transition.
Please join us in our effort to honor Rick. Help make this transition as stressless as possible by being the hands and feet God uses to renew his servant's heart.
Thank you and God bless you!
